Our Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability and protecting the environment is at the forefront of all of our minds and is a leading requirement in the decision-making process of choosing a print partner to align your brand with. That’s why at Hobs Repro in 2021 we decided we had to take action and partnered with Print Releaf, a leading environmental business that aims to help fight deforestation whilst allowing its participants the opportunity to offset our environmental impact of print through certified reforestation and carbon offset projects.
It’s the little things that go a long way in helping the environment, we actively encourage the use of recycled or recyclable paper with all our clients, allowing our clients to make the decisions that matter to them.
It doesn’t stop in our print rooms either, in all of our offices we have the availability to recycle cans, paper and plastic using our waste management service to cover aspects of business life. Our print waste is separated into different areas to help reduce our waste from going into landfill.
Energy consumption – Most of our sites have had their lightbulbs changed to LED lights that are energy-saving. We hope that by 2025 this will be across the board for all locations. We actively encourage all desktop PCs and technology to be turned off during the night and weekends to avoid them being left on standby.
We have our fleet of vans that we hope within the next 5 years will be upgraded to electric vehicles. In our London locations, we have already started to use the benefit of cycle couriers which has given our clients quicker delivery times in some areas of the city.
We have made a commitment that all of our marketing merchandise will be produced by reputable businesses that we have partnered with. Ensuring the origin and background of all of our products, from recycled pens to biodegradable trolley coins.
