Key Challenges

Solution

Hobs were tasked by our customer Kingerlee to provide hoarding signage to surround works at Wadham College in central Oxford. The design concept was created by Anthony in the Kingerlee graphics team, and Hobs provided prepress and visual support. The project was managed by Hobs from initial site survey, samples and production, through to install completion.

The ACM panels were produced on our Océ Arizona flatbeds and finished on our Zund cutter, together with the standoff logo lettering. The panels were fixed to the timber hoarding line, along with printed headers and kickers, and the 3D lettering applied to the face of the panels to give a “stand-off” look. The hoarding graphics stood proud for around 12 months in central Oxford promoting the company and the works in the best possible fashion.

Result

“We have worked with Hobs on a number of sites, most recently Wadham College where they were employed to install some branded hoarding to the front of the college. The process was straightforward, efficient and numerous client requested artwork changes were actioned quickly. Hobs were invaluable in suggesting design features that would make our hoarding stand out from the rest with items such as ‘stand-off’ lettering. The installation was to a very high standard and well maintained over the course of 52 weeks. We would not hesitate in using Hobs for bespoke/premium hoardings”.
